Pellet stove vs wood?

I have a 2300 square feet. I have a wood stove in the basement is too small to heat the entire home. I'm looking to get a bigger stove or pellet stove. I know how the stove will work as I have a fireplace and upstair not very warm upstairs. I think the pellet stove because it will be easier for my wife to add pellets because I am part I for about 12 hours of the day. It does not go out and timber growing, re-ignite fires, cleaning up ashes, etc., but my question is: to compare a ton of pellets in a cord of wood (which are more or less the same price) that will last longer if I keep at home, the same temperature.

Not to be stingy. Get your wife will like … wood pellets. A bag of pellets in the hopper will last all day. Also, if you get the kind of kitchen with thermostat is easy to make it warmer or colder. The thermostat control the speed of the omen in the supply pipe pellets. Another bonus: no ashes to clean, and the pellets are more eco-responsible.
