Classic Flame 28 Inch LED Fireplace Insert $589.2 Classic Flame – Fireplace Inserts – Plugs into a 120-volt outlet Electrical Cord is 6 feet long Standard Type B (American 3-pin or U-ground) Plug The New ALL LED Electric Fireplace Insert 1. Operational Life The operational life of LED lamps is 100,000 hours or 11 years (over 1 decade) of continuous operation The operational life of incandescent bulbs is approximately 5000 hours Using LED’s would virtually eliminate the need for routine bulb replacement LED bulbs last 10 times as long as compact flourescents, and 133 times longer than typical incandescent 2. Cost With incandescent bulbs, the largest cost of the bulb is the cost of replacement bulbs and the labor expense and time needed to replace them. Most incandescent light bulbs blow out within a year whereas LED light bulbs can be used easily for a decade without burning out 3. Reduced Power Consumption/Reduced Heat Buildup LED circuits operate at 80% efficiency, meaning that 80% of the electrical energy is converted to light energy and 20% is lost as heat Incandescent bulbs operate at about 20% efficiency meaning that 80% of the electrical energy is lost as heat Therefore if it costs $88 to run a 100 watt light bulb a year, $70 will have been used to heat the room, not light the room LED bulbs do not cause heat build-up; LED’s produce 3.4 btu’s/hour, compared to 85 btu’s/hr for incandescent bulbs 4. Durability LED’s do not have a filament, they are not damaged under circumstances when a regular incandescent bulb would be broken. Because they are solid, LED bulbs hold up well to jarring and bumping 5. Global Warming LED’s reduce CO2 emissions, thereby positively affecting the greenhouse effect LED’s can decrease by 50% the global amount of electricity used for lighting LED’s can decrease by 10% the total global consumption of electricity LED’s can reduce projected 2025 global carbon emissions by about 300 million metric tons per year LED’s, as compared to incandescent light bulbs, produce no UV radiation and little heat Multi-Function slim-line Remote Control All effects can be controlled independently Heat – On/off button toggles heat between the highest setting and off Standby – Switches all functions on or off to the previous setting Volume – Up/down controls the 5 volume levels Flame – Up/down controls for the 5 brightness settings Crackle – Three settings: crackle and wind, crackle only, and sound off Embers – Toggles the rolling ember effect on/off Sparks – Toggles the sparks on/off Medium Firebox Dimensions: 29.13w x 23.11h x 11.3d Viewable Area: 26w x 18h Black frame glass front face |

My gas fireplace turns on but after a few minutes of clicking. Why is this happening?
Sounds like a problem with the thermocouple … When the driver is, there is a thin copper tube that goes back to the gasvalve. It detects the flame and sends a signal to the gas valve, in saying that there is a known and it is normal to open and allow gas to flow. The end of the thermocouple may be necessary to clean lightly with sandpaper. Make sure the tip of the thermocouple directly into the pilot flame. Also make sure the other end is placed safe in the gasvalve. If the thermocouple is not getting enough heat, or is old and weak enough not to send power back to the gas valve and valve Gas closes. This is what we call a safety valve "to 100%." It shuts off gas flow to 100%, if the flame goes out … If you are not completely comfortable with the research yourself, you find that a technician. No room for errors when dealing with gas appliances. Good luck!
